About the Book of Common Prayer

Christ Church uses the Book of Common Prayer (1979), which is available on-line.  We use both The Holy Eucharist Rite I and The Holy Eucharist Rite II.

When using Rite II, we use all four Eucharistic Prayers (A, B, C & D), at different times of the year.

This Link can take you to many different versions of the Book of Common Prayer, including the English 1662 Book of Common Prayer. The 1662 Book of Common Prayer has become the basis for all other Anglican prayer books world-wide. Associated with the 1662 Prayer Book are the 1562 Articles of Religion, a series of belief statements that are part of our Anglican heritage world-wide.
